Paul is such an amazing and kind hearted man who always does the right thing by you and your car. I never have to worry if someone is scamming me. He is super trustworthy. I have been coming here for years.
Not only is your car taken care of but the prices are very fair and when you wait for your car he has a huge tv that you can watch whatever you want. There are always yummy snacks as well. You feel at home and comfortable. It took awhile for me to find a great place I can trust and I'm so happy that I found this place!!!! I'll never go anywhere else :)

Needed an oil change for a Sequoia 05, and Paul did an excellent job. He noticed that my rear brakes were almost to metal. I'm glad he checked them because my wife was driving back and forth to LA from San Diego multiple times in the last 2 years. I need to go to a meeting during the brake change and he gave me a car to use. I appreciate his workmanship and customer service.

I have been going to this shop for over a decade. They have always taken such good care of me and everyone that I've recommended (seriously, dozens). Paul is very fair in his pricing and he's honest and will tell you if you don't need to do something, or let you know a timeline of when you probably should, or MUST. So nice to have an honest review of your car's health. I recently had him rebuild my 17 year old car's engine, transmission, suspension, brakes and exhaust. Decided that I love the car I have and at 375K miles I can now look forward to another nearly 20 years with it. Thanks Paul for taking such good care of my car, and through extension, me.

Paul is the man! Took my 2010 Prius to him after having a diagnostic done at my local Toyota dealer and discovering 5-6 things that needed to be serviced. Toyota wanted an arm and a leg for everything so I received a recommendation to call Paul's shop. Paul answered and said to bring it in. Within 2 days he knocked everything out, my car was good to go and I saved a good chunk of cash. Will definitely be going here with any car troubles from here on out!

I used to come here for oil changes for many years before Young was the owner and when Young was the owner. There is a new owner now that is rude and unhelpful. I made an appointment for an oil change and he took a walk in front of me. He was like " yes, what do you need? " all helpful as if the walk in was before me , he behaved as if I was the walk in and the guy who just walked in was the one with the appointment and it made me wait for a long time. Then instead of putting a new sticker in the car saying when the next oil service is due he wrote the numbers on top of the numbers of the sticker that was already there which makes it illegible. And all of this with very bad manners as if he was pissed off. This is the new owner so different from the previous one Young who was so helpful and kind. Today I called on the phone to make an appointment for an oil change. A lady picked up the phone and insisted I needed an appointment for an oil change and that it can only be in the morning. I told her I work and she started asking me if I had been there before. I told her I have been a customer for more than 20 years even before the new owner Paul bought the place. Her answer was that she can only give me an appointment in the morning and that I need to call in the morning to
Talk to Paul. I know Paul is super rude so is not going to happen. I think I will have to go to John from
John's auto services who is very close to Japanese Auto Tech. John can work in your car after 2 pm and even as late as 6 pm for people who work. I really wanted to continue with Japanese Auto Tech but being rude, making you wait when you have an appointment and saying "
Oh she can wait" while helping a walk in and making it impossible to make an appointment unless is early morning has done it for me. Waiting for this new owner to leave as others have!! Then, I will come back to Japanese Auto Tech

My partner's been coming here for years, and now I'm delighted to switch to Japanese Auto Tech as my new regular shop.
When I drove in, my Corolla was rattling, and when I drove away, she was purrrrring. Friendly, fast, knowledgeable, reasonable price.

Japanese Auto Tech seems to be under different ownership. I actually like Paul even better. Extremely nice and trustworthy. He works to satisfy his customers and knows that it's better to have great work and keep his customers coming back, than it is to rush and make a quick buck. Larger auto repair shops and auto dealerships do it as a business. They have guaranteed cars coming in, so they focus more on making the money.

I live about 30 minutes away and have plenty of other closer options for auto repair but Paul is definitely my number one choice. I have horror stories from other mechanics and Paul just makes me forget about all of that. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here to get serviced.

I highly recommend Japanese Auto Tech. Paul was so professional and friendly. He listened to my concerns and made recommendations without being pushy. He is very knowledgeable. My jeep was fixed and I'm very happy. He also saved me a lot of money. Totally recommend him. I'll be going there for my oil changes and other repairs.

My car a weird rattle sound in my g35 ans i couldnt figure jt out but thanks to them the found it out and fixed it and reinforced it so it wouldnt happen again thank you
